My early interest in art was watercolor painting of subjects from nature.

Twenty years ago I became involved in jewelry making and worked both as an instructor and as artist in wirewrap.

In 1999 I took a beginning lampwork class and fell in love with making glass beads on the very first day.

Once again I had discovered a way of creating art that reflected my interest in nature and color. My beads became sculptures of frogs, lizards, shells, turtles, flowers, fish and mermaids, in addition to animal prints and colorful designs.

Coming up with a new design or technique in making glass beads is a challenge that I enjoy. Taking classes and teaching classes is a real pleasure.

My jewelry is mostly exhibited at juried fine art shows in Florida and Georgia. I have received many awards for my jewelry and beads at these shows.
